In 1998, at the age of 29, David Hayter, who until then had only done different roles in anime dubbing and in the animated series ‘Spider-man’ as Captain America<\/strong>, was about to get the role of his life, the one that would put him on the map worldwide and instantly recognized: Solid Snake in ‘Metal Gear Solid’<\/strong>. However, 13 years ago he was left aside by Konami. And then, what happened?<\/p>\n\n\n

Snake, Snake!!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hayter<\/a><\/strong> had no problem surviving: in addition to his voice acting work, which grew throughout different video games, he became a screenwriter for movies like ‘X-Men 2’, ‘Watchmen’ or the series ‘Warrior Nun’. But he always had a thorn in his side because Kiefer Sutherland replaced him in ‘Metal Gear Solid 5’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, Hayter has finally played that cursed game for him, and his reaction on social media has been better than expected: “Okay, I’ve ignored it for years… But, beyond the Laryngitic Snake? This game is quite fun.<\/strong> (Raises his fist to the sky) “KOJIMAAAAAAA<\/a><\/strong>!”<\/em>. The little jab, of course, couldn’t be missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
