2023 was a year that we will remember with special affection. Not only did we have a large number of high-quality video games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom<\/strong>, Baldur’s Gate 3<\/strong>, Alan Wake 2<\/strong>, or Sea of Stars<\/strong> (among many others), but it was also the year when Konami<\/strong> announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In this way, and with just a few months apart, Konami confirmed to us that they are developing two of the most anticipated remakes of recent years<\/strong>: Metal Gear Solid 3 and also Silent Hill 2<\/strong>, announced in October 2022, thus ending the pleas of the fans, who had been asking for a remake of both games for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, announcing the titles didn’t mean that we were going to taste them soon. As is often the case in the triple A industry, many years can pass between a game being announced and its final release<\/strong> (just ask Bethesda<\/strong> and the upcoming The Elder Scrolls VI<\/strong>). And, to make matters worse, none of them had a release date<\/strong>, not even an estimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that uncertainty seems to have evaporated this week, as a promotional video from PlayStation<\/strong> showing the big releases coming to PlayStation 5 in 2024<\/a> features both games<\/strong>, to everyone’s surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
