The most famous Mandalorian (apologies to Boba Fett) will share the spotlight with Grogu in a movie whose title we also already know, The Mandalorian and Grogu<\/strong>. The film, which will be directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, is expected to go into production this same year, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the official Star Wars website<\/a>, Jon Favreau has expressed how excited he is about this project: “Bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting<\/strong>“. On the other hand, Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, adds that “this new story fits perfectly on the big screen<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brief press release suggests that The Mandalorian and Grogu “will lead the list of feature films in development at Lucasfilm, which includes other films directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who is also developing the second season of Ahsoka, among others.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
