Well, Instagram is currently testing that feature.<\/p>\n\n\n

The new option to share a Story<\/a>, which has been highlighted by content creator Jonah Manzano<\/a><\/strong>, is appearing on the accounts of various users. If your account has the feature enabled, it will appear in the story sharing menu as “Friend’s Story<\/strong>“, along with the classic options of “Your Story”, “Close Friends”, and “Message”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After selecting this option and clicking on “Share”, the selected contact will be able to review the Story you have created for them<\/strong> and, if approved, it will be added to their Story. This Story will be shared with your contact as a message, so it will be 100% private until the contact decides to publish it.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to Instagram, as confirmed to Social Media Today<\/a><\/strong>, the option is being tested with selected users, without a specific date for its full release yet<\/strong>: “We are always working on new ways for people to share and connect on Instagram, and now we are testing a way to request to share a friend’s story with a small group of people to start.”<\/p>\n\n\n
