The nominations for the 2024 Oscars<\/a> are highly contested, as both Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s film<\/strong>, and Poor Things, the latest film by Yorgos Lanthimos starring Emma Stone, compete in so many categories that no one knows which one will win Best Picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, far from creating an unhealthy rivalry between the competitors, the participants of both films have shown themselves to be faithful admirers of their opponents’ work. Cillian Murphy already said at the time that the movie he liked the most this year<\/strong>, disregarding Oppenheimer<\/a>, was Poor Things.
