Percy Jackson and the Olympians has proven to be one of the biggest successes of Disney Plus<\/a><\/strong> since the streaming platform emerged in late 2019. However, the series has a “handicap” since its inception, and that is that actor Lance Reddick, also known for John Wick<\/a> and The Wire, passed away before it was released<\/strong>. This is not a trivial matter, as Reddick plays Zeus, the quintessential god of Greek mythology, in Percy Jackson. His involvement, as the producer said at the time, was significant to the project, and that is why they wanted to pay tribute to him properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
