But its creators don’t stop working, and they already have the next big series for Netflix ready: El refugio at\u00f3mico<\/strong><\/strong>. As its name suggests, it is a futuristic dystopian series, but what do we know about it exactly?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Netflix has already revealed what Atomic Shelter will be about, and the truth is that it looks like it could become one of Netflix<\/a>‘s biggest hits in the future:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Imagine that the Third World War is about to break out and a group of billionaires take refuge in a luxury bunker: Kimera Underground Park<\/strong>. From there, they will watch on screens, in a bewildering spectacle, how the world they knew is collapsing over their heads. And while the situation outside becomes increasingly terrifying, they will enjoy their exclusive little city with a basketball court, restaurant, zen garden, cocktail bar, psychologist’s couch, gym, and spa. That will be the extent of their mythical privilege: adapting to living in a luxury hole, in an underground universe full of enigmas where the unresolved issues of two families affected by a past wound will explode”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chosen actors for The Atomic Shelter are also very interesting. Although not all of them are well-known faces, they have all the potential to become big stars after this series. Miren Ibarguren, Joaqu\u00edn Furriel, Natalia Verbeke, Carlos Santos, Montse Guallar, and Alicia Falc\u00f3 join the promising Agustina Bisio, Pau Simon, and \u00c1lex Villaz\u00e1n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world after El refugio at\u00f3mico<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The series will have a big company behind everything that happens, which is most likely to go against the innocent protagonists. In this case, it is Kimera Underground Park, a Civil Engineering company<\/strong> specialized in unique buildings and underground structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As specified by the platform, the company is dedicated to the construction and operation of luxury bunkers with capacity for over 100 guests and autonomy to survive up to ten years. Minerva Palatchi, Engineer and architect, is the CEO and founder of the company<\/strong> which is characterized by the use of pre-existing natural gas cavities, allowing the building to expand up to 700,000 square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n

As El refugio at\u00f3mico has just been announced, we don’t know when the series will premiere. However, everything seems to indicate that it will arrive sometime in late 2025.
