Apparently, the latest Xbox Insider updates have significantly increased the download speed of games on Xbox consoles<\/strong>. In my case, it seems a bit strange, as they’re downloading almost at the maximum speed of my network (1 Gbps). Everything revolves around Xbox this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

While downloading games, @IdleSloth84_ noticed that the speed increased to 380 MB\/second while the games were running in the background<\/strong>, and to 480 MB\/second without any games running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Xbox users reported noticing an increase of up to 800 MB\/second, which is 10 times faster than the average of 40 to 80 MB\/second.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(FYI) I've done some tests and games are now downloading at 380mbs while games are running.

Usually games download at 480mbs with no game running in the background.
