Google is preparing news<\/strong> for its native SMS messaging application by adding the ability for users to react to messages by double tapping on the desired message<\/strong>. With this, Google plans to increase feedback for its service by adding a system that already exists<\/strong> in many instant messaging services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reactions to messages, something that services like WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram<\/strong> already have, among other services, allows users to give direct feedback to their interlocutor without the need to write an explicit message. With this, users will have a different way to interact with other people<\/strong> through Google Messages.<\/p>\n\n\n

As 9to5google advances<\/a>, the possibility for users to interact with other people using reactions<\/strong> is currently being tested. These reactions will be activated by simply double tapping the screen<\/strong> of the mobile device. It is still unknown if this feature will be implemented, but for now, Google is considering adding it, which is why this feature is in beta phase<\/strong>, while deciding if it is a valuable addition to the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google Messages is the native Android application that allows users to check and send SMS messages<\/strong>. It is not a widely used service, as the customization layers of different companies usually develop their own messaging applications. However, those who have mobile phones like the Pixel<\/strong> could have the possibility of having this improvement if Google finally implements it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is evident that Google, as a company, has a lot of active markets<\/strong>.
