That is why companies like <strong>OpenAI<\/strong> have been perfecting their models over time, especially in order to avoid user criticism. The AI made many mistakes with the founding fathers of the US, <strong>making some of them black<\/strong> (they were all very white), and also changing the skin tone of the Popes throughout history (all whiter than a scared vampire). Other blunders of the AI included changing the race or gender of Vikings, <strong>Nazis<\/strong>, and even famous Canadian hockey players.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"712\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/Pifia-Gemini-Google.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-273648\" srcset=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/Pifia-Gemini-Google.jpg 712w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/Pifia-Gemini-Google-297x300.jpg 297w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/Pifia-Gemini-Google-96x96.jpg 96w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2024\/02\/Pifia-Gemini-Google-150x152.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 712px) 100vw, 712px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Things got worse when some users said they asked Gemini to <strong>create a white person in the story, and the AI was unable to do so<\/strong>, but it was able to produce an image of a black person seemingly without any issues. The controversy escalated even further when a former Google employee <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/debarghya_das\/status\/1759786243519615169\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">claimed<\/a> on Twitter that <strong>it is &#8220;shamefully difficult to get Google Gemini to recognize that white people exist&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We are working to improve this type of representation immediately,&#8221; said <strong>Jack Krawczyk<\/strong>, Senior Director of Product Management at Google for Gemini Experiences, in a statement. &#8220;Gemini&#8217;s AI-generated images generate a wide range of people. And that&#8217;s generally good because it&#8217;s used by people from all over the world.
