After a long wait, we finally know the official name of the fighting game developed by Riot. From now on, Project L abandons its denomination to be officially called 2XKO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

It was first announced in 2019, along with other important projects from the company such as Arcane<\/strong> and Legends of Runeterra<\/strong>. However, the studio’s grand plans were thwarted by the crisis in the gaming industry. The company entered 2024 with hundreds of layoffs and the closure of its publishing division, Riot Forge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truth is that little was known about 2XKO after its announcement. The first practical demonstration of the title took place during EVO 2023<\/strong>, the most important fighting tournament in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
