Imagine, for a moment, that you have released one of the games that have marked not only the month or the year, but the gaming decade. Now also imagine that you promise support for mods<\/a> on consoles and PC… And that the public turns against you with violent reactions and death threats <\/strong>(in a gamer style, of course, who are we kidding). The result, probably, would be enough to enrage anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n

Gate says<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a message released on Twitter, Michael Douse, director of Larian (and therefore, the person in charge of Baldur’s Gate 3<\/a>), has made it quite clear what he thinks about fans who are very passionate about their own thing: “We will talk in depth about how our support for mods will look in the future. We have been working on it since the launch. As always, we will discuss it in our own way with our community. Threats and toxicity against our developers and community teams will only harm the conversation. Please, stop<\/strong>“<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, he adds, 99.0% of the community is the best, and it is the only reason why there are still community teams and consultations. “It is inevitable that, when you have a city, a few black sheep start a fire<\/strong>“<\/em>. In other words, the game will have mod support. They understand why the wait is frustrating, but they have to let it happen gradually. And in the world of some gamers, anything that is not “right now” is automatically a mistake. Anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n
