Through this ambitious project, Meta intends<\/strong> for users to have a rich content assistance, especially considering the algorithm that is responsible for recommending videos to users<\/strong> based on their tastes and interests. In this way, the company wants to ensure that users spend more time looking at screens<\/strong> within their applications.<\/p>\n\n\n

As explained by CNBC<\/a>, a company executive stated that Meta is making a significant investment in a large-scale AI<\/strong> that is capable of processing all video content<\/strong> within its applications. This is part of a roadmap focused on 2026<\/strong>, aiming to increase user engagement with Reels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking into account that Facebook and Instagram have a large percentage of their traffic and screen time on their Reels videos<\/strong>, this tool would serve them to ensure that the content they show to users is to their liking, thanks to the superior processing of the hypothetical AI<\/strong>. In this way, Meta’s apps would offer more popular results<\/strong> than those of the currently established algorithms, which may not be as accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
