Created by Beau DeMayo, a writer who was fired by Marvel just one week after the series premiered<\/a> \u2014apparently, for reasons unrelated to the production of X-Men 97’\u2014, it has become one of the studio’s biggest milestones<\/strong>. And this has only increased with the fifth episode, which many already say has the best ending “since Infinity War”.<\/p>\n\n\n

The X-Men are in good hands<\/h2>\n\n\n

Titled “Remember”, the fifth episode of X-Men 97′<\/a> takes the action to Genosha<\/strong>, an island rehabilitated by the UN to house mutants from all over the world who do not find their place. After recent events, the island proposes Magneto \u2014who now leads the X-Men\u2014 as the leader of the place, and he only conditions it on Rogue being by his side.<\/p>\n\n\n

After the love triangle involving Rogue, Magneto, and Gambit<\/strong>, the action starts to intensify when the island is unexpectedly attacked by gigantic sentinels. However, this is not the usual attack from these villains, but a massacre comparable to Daenerys’ at the end of Game of Thrones.<\/p>\n\n\n

To the surprise of the audience, all kinds of mutants die… and it seems that this time there is no turning back, as happened in Infinity War. In this way, a turning point is created in the series, in addition to the certainty that Marvel must recover Beau DeMayo as soon as possible<\/strong> and put the future of live-action X-Men in his hands.<\/p>\n\n
