In other words, emulators were going to be allowed in the App Store, but there was still some doubt about whether all of them would be permitted. 9to5Mac (@9to5mac) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/9to5mac\/status\/1780308892947243053?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 16, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The app was withdrawn for fear of reprisals<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, when clicking on a link to Bimmy, it displays &#8220;This app is currently not available in your country or region&#8221;. <strong>This time, it was not Apple who removed it, but the developer.<\/strong> In the MacRumors forums, the developer stated that they removed the app &#8220;out of fear&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;No one pressured me to do it, but I got more nervous as the day went on,&#8221;
