On March 25th, Cities Skylines 2<\/a>, which is a game that had not been particularly well received by the public, released a DLC called Beach Properties<\/strong> that included several buildings, right on the beach. In theory, everything seemed fine, but in reality, this additional content was poor and rushed. And after apologizing a thousand times, Colossal Order has done the right thing.<\/p>\n\n

That is, putting the free DLC<\/a> inside the game and starting a campaign to refund all the money raised by it<\/strong>. It’s not little: 9.99 euros for each purchase. In addition, the studio, which has emphasized how disappointed it is with itself (“You trusted and in return, we have failed you,” they say), has postponed all the additional content it had prepared for this year until 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n

Or rather, we should put an asterisk: at least until 2025. For now, the delay of ‘Bridges and ports’, the upcoming DLC<\/a>, is indefinite, and it is possible that the game (and with it, probably, the saga) will be considered dead if it doesn’t progress.<\/strong> And meanwhile, the console versions of the game are still planned for the coming months, but there is no further news about it. What a mess!<\/p>\n\n\n
