According to a report from The New York Times<\/a>, Apple is close to reaching an agreement with FIFA<\/strong> – the governing body of world sports – to obtain the global rights for an expanded version of the Club World Cup that will be held in the United States in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Times states that the agreement could amount to over 1 billion dollars<\/strong> and that the official announcement could take place at some point this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
