In an episode of X-Men 97′<\/a>, this has become even clearer. Cable asks Cyclops if they are going to war or to the circus, considering their costumes, and Cyclops responds: “What were you expecting? Black leather?”<\/strong>. This is an obvious reference to the black costumes from the first X-Men<\/a> movies, but it doesn’t stop there.
