9to5Mac (@9to5mac) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/9to5mac\/status\/1787700485278900276?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 7, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Harness a decade of Apple research in this sector<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DigiTimes suggests that Apple could leverage its 10 years of research on electric vehicles and autonomous driving and partner with another company instead of manufacturing its own car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although &#8220;it is not known for certain what form such collaboration could take&#8221;, <strong>this report suggests that Rivian is the leading candidate, based on supply chain sources.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DigiTimes report does not provide further details. <strong>It is unclear what a partnership between Apple and Rivian would look like, or if Rivian would even be interested in such an agreement<\/strong>.
