Adobe Acrobat Services integrates well with other Adobe programs and offers options to manage PDFs at a higher level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below we will see how it can be combined with Acrobat to generate invoices automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to design an invoice and not die trying<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the business field, creating and managing documents such as <strong>invoices<\/strong> is essential. Adobe Acrobat is considered a powerful and indispensable tool for designers, accountants, and business managers looking to optimize these tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will see how we can use it together with <strong>Adobe Acrobat Services<\/strong> and thus, create invoices with the <strong>Document Generation API<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access the API<\/strong>: As you can imagine, first you need to have an Adobe account and access to <strong>Adobe Acrobat Services<\/strong>. Sign up to get API access and obtain the necessary API keys to authenticate yourself.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adobe&#8217;s tool for creating documents (such as invoices) needs to receive information in a specific format called <strong>JSON<\/strong>. For example, if you have billing data saved in your management program, this data must be in <strong>JSON<\/strong> format. To do this, you must first install it and then open the tab in Microsoft Word.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2024\/05\/acrobata1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-332002\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once you have pasted the JSON file, click on Generate tags. In your template, place the cursor where you want the changing data to appear, such as the client&#8217;s name or the date. Then, in the Adobe plugin window, select the corresponding tag for the data you want to insert and click on <strong>Insert text<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We will add the details that vary from one invoice to another. In the plugin, search and click on the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> option and then on <strong>Tables and lists<\/strong> to see how you can create a table that updates according to the customer&#8217;s order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, you will come across a menu where you can select <strong>Order<\/strong>. Then, in another menu, choose the specific columns you need in the table. If you need to add your signature to a PDF, whether it&#8217;s for a contract or to authorize a document, here&#8217;s how to do it quickly and easily:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Open<\/strong> the PDF document you want to sign.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>Sign<\/strong> icon that you will find on the toolbar. You can also go to <strong>Tools<\/strong> and then <strong>Fill &amp; Sign<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2024\/05\/acrobata3-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-332015\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After clicking on Fill and Sign, hover over the fields where you need to place your signature. Adobe Acrobat automatically detects them so you only have to fill in what is necessary. Finally, click on the Sign icon. Here you can choose to add your signature or leave the initials of your name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you haven&#8217;t registered your signature in Adobe Acrobat, you can do it next. From the Signature panel, you can do several things: write your name, draw your signature, select an image, and place it as your signature, and finally, save it for future occasions. <strong>Apply<\/strong> and place your signature wherever you want within the document.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Search and find the necessary information in your documents<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeping control is key: if you want to verify that everything is correct and that your documents have everything they need, you can always use the built-in search function in Adobe Acrobat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can perform a simple search through the search window (<strong>Find Text or Tools<\/strong>), located in the upper right corner. Acrobat can find what you want in the text and even in digital signatures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also perform a more advanced search. To do this, go to <strong>Find Texts or Tools<\/strong> and click on the <strong>three consecutive dots<\/strong>.
