Warner Bros. seems to have lost interest in the world of video games. After several disappointing games, they have decided to close down one of their most interesting publishing branches. This has had its ups and downs, but it seems to be ending on a positive note. At least for the players.

Last March, several developers said on social media that Warner Bros. was going to remove their games within a maximum of 60 days. What all these developers had in common was that they were part of a specific sub-label, Adult Swim Games. Saying that it was impossible to negotiate publishing rights due to lack of resources, it seemed that the fate of all their games was to disappear. Until now.

Owen Deery, developer of Small Radios Big Televisions, and Landon Podbielski, developer of Duck Games, have confirmed that they have regained control of their games. This ensures that, at the very least, these two games are safe and will be able to continue being sold in the future.

What this means for Warner Bros. as a video game distributor as a whole is up in the air. It is clear that at least Adult Swim Games is going to disappear and perhaps some of its games will go with it. This raises doubts about the future and viability of Warner Bros. as a distributor, following high-profile failures such as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League or MultiVersus. Although sustained by the great success of Hogwarts Legacy or Mortal Kombat 1.
