This planetary system <strong>also hosts two equally impressive worlds: one rocky and one gaseous<\/strong>, in orbits comparatively close to their host star. The elliptical orbit of TOI-6713.01 brings it almost into contact with its star, experiencing <strong>gravitational tides that trigger a &#8220;tidal storm&#8221; as it approaches<\/strong>, stretching and twisting its molten interior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The energy generated by these tidal forces <strong>causes a constant volcanic activity on the surface of the exoplanet<\/strong>, raising its temperature to an incredible 2,600 kelvin (<strong>2,327 degrees Celsius<\/strong>), which exceeds that reached in some <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/she-is-not-an-elf-she-is-a-star-and-scientists-believe-she-had-a-partner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">low-mass stars<\/a>.
