TikTok is experimenting with uploading 60-minute videos<\/strong>, as confirmed by the company to TechCrunch<\/a>. The feature is only available to some users and there are no immediate plans to expand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company has been gradually increasing the duration of the videos:<\/strong> in January, it gave some creators access to 30-minute clips and, from now on, users can upload content up to 10 minutes long. Right now, content creators who sell subscriptions also have access to 20-minute videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The explosive popularity of TikTok has led many other companies,<\/strong> from Meta and YouTube to LinkedIn, to add short videos to their platforms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

But while everyone else is trying to recreate the appeal of the “For You” page, TikTok is doubling down on long-form content and live streaming<\/strong>, formats more associated with YouTube or Twitch.
