In particular, it stands out for having significantly improved <strong>interaction<\/strong> with humans, especially when compared to its predecessors. GPT-4o is also capable of answering our questions by <strong>voice<\/strong> (choosing from five different options) almost in real time. OpenAI has temporarily removed the ability to use Sky within ChatGPT. The truth is that since its release, Sky&#8217;s voice had generated some confusion among users due to its tone being so similar to that of actress <strong>Scarlett Johansson<\/strong> in the movie <strong>Her<\/strong>. Let&#8217;s remember that in that movie, the protagonist (Joaquin Phoenix) falls in love with his virtual assistant (Johansson).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first time OpenAI gave voice to ChatGPT was in <strong>September<\/strong> of <strong>2023<\/strong>. Specifically, there were five: <strong>Breeze, Cove, Ember, Juniper, and Sky<\/strong>. However, the controversy with Sky erupted last Monday after the presentation and release of GPT 4o. As a result of the announcement, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman himself posted on X with the word &#8220;<strong>her<\/strong>&#8220;, in reference to the movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"qst\" dir=\"ltr\">her<\/p>&mdash; Sam Altman (@sama) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sama\/status\/1790075827666796666?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 13, 2024<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the controversy caused, OpenAI has temporarily paused the use of Sky&#8217;s voice. After its removal, they published a <a href=\"https:\/\/openai.com\/index\/how-the-voices-for-chatgpt-were-chosen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"statement\">statement<\/a> explaining the origin of the voices used in ChatGPT.
