The Monsterverse<\/a> has become one of the most successful franchises in recent years<\/strong>. Films like Kong: Skull Island or Godzilla: King of the Monsters are already classics of monster cinema, and everything took on an even greater dimension thanks to the last two crossovers of Godzilla and King Kong<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two movies were both directed by Adam Wingard, and after the success of both, his return was expected to culminate his monstrous trilogy. However, this is not going to happen.
