PC players received the arrival of ‘Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut’<\/strong> on May 16th<\/strong>, several years after its release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Now, Nixxes Software and Sucker Punch have released a new patch for the game, the largest it has received in its history so far.<\/p>\n\n\n

This third patch, available for download from Steam<\/strong> and Epic Game Store<\/strong>, aims to solve a large number of errors<\/strong>, many of which were previously reported by the community. Additionally, it also includes stability improvements.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most important bugs directly affected the audio<\/strong>. Specifically, we are referring to the sound cuts<\/strong> that could occur in some very specific situations in the game. Fortunately, this patch would completely eliminate this annoying problem from the root.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another error that caused ‘Ghost of Tsushima’ to start with a black screen<\/strong> when HDR was enabled in Windows 10 would also have been fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, users who equip their computer with an AMD RX 7000<\/strong> series GPU will see their game run much more stable than before. An addition that we are sure many will greatly appreciate. Likewise, this patch will also prevent opening the Photo Mode<\/strong> with an Xbox controller or from Steam Deck from causing unnecessary<\/strong> screenshots.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ghost of Tsushima and the controversies with PSN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After what happened with ‘Helldivers 2<\/strong>,’ many thought Sony would not make the same mistake with accounts again. However, not only did they do it again, but in the last State of Play they even emphasized it at the beginning of the presentation. From now on, PlayStation Studios games released on PC will require the user to have a PSN account to play. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, in ‘Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut’ the same thing has ended up happening, but with a nuance: it will only be strictly necessary if we want to play multiplayer<\/strong>. So although the story mode will not require us to link any PSN account to enjoy it, we will have to do it for the Legends<\/strong> mode. Are you willing to go along with Sony to try it?<\/p>\n\n\n
