As of June 10th, Nintendo has officially stopped supporting the integration of the Switch console with X <\/strong>(formerly Twitter), becoming the last of the current-generation consoles to do so after Microsoft and Sony disabled their own access last year.<\/p>\n\n\n

The integration was removed as part of the Nintendo Switch 18.1.0 update, eliminating the ability for users to link their Twitter account with the console or post in-game screenshots from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate directly to the social media platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The removal of these features constitutes the bulk of the 18.1.0 update<\/strong>, which also includes some general stability improvements and removes the ability to link social media accounts through the Switch’s Friends Suggestions feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
