This widget system brought us a more modern and efficient interface for displaying information. With Smart Stack, the widgets – customizable according to our needs – appear intelligently based on the time, location, and other conditions, offering a much more intuitive and clutter-free experience.

Now, with the arrival of Live Activities in the Smart Stack in watchOS 11, the situation is even clearer. Live activities and content playback are automatically managed through the Smart Stack, eliminating the need for additional gestures like double tapping, which was never a very good fit with the Siri watch face.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Smart Stack in watchOS 11 has integrated a series of widgets, including Shazam for music detection, workouts, workout tracking, photos, and weather alerts.
