Inside Out 2 is being the biggest cinema success in 2024<\/strong>. Pixar has made a grand comeback with the sequel to one of its best movies of all time, and it is proving that there is still room for family movies in a year that seemed to be a disaster. However, this will not be the only production from the franchise that we will see. After Inside Out 2, it has been announced that they will release a spin-off series on Disney Plus. What will the Inside Out spin-off be about?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The title of the Inside Out spin-off is Dream Productions<\/strong>, and those who remember the first movie will know what it’s about. The function of Dream Productions, settled in Riley’s mind, is to create the protagonist’s dreams while she sleeps, and we will see how it interconnects with her feelings in order to generate them.<\/p>\n\n\n

No further details about the project’s plot have been revealed yet, but it is undoubtedly a very interesting premise that, considering the success Pixar usually achieves with these crazy ideas, promises to work perfectly. What is certain is that it will not be something we have seen before<\/strong>. Pete Docter explains it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Even in the sequels, the concern is that you end up repeating storylines or themes that we have already addressed before<\/strong>. We had early versions of Inside Out where they went back to the core memories, and we have to shake this up. So we made a lot of decisions based on the desire not to repeat ourselves.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When will Dream Productions be released?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

“We have finished it. It will be released next spring. I’m not sure if there is a specific release date, but in the first movie, do you remember that we go to Dream Productions to see how Riley’s dreams are made?<\/strong> That partly explains why they are so weird. We continue to explore the power of dreams and how they affect us in our waking life. So it’s great,” says Pete Docter.
