Like a Dragon<\/strong>, the saga previously known as Yakuza<\/strong>, is going through its best moment, and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio<\/strong> is fully aware of it. After the huge success achieved by their latest titles, especially Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth<\/strong>, the Japanese studio claims to have started working on their next video game.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to Video Games Chronicle<\/a><\/strong>, the company has offered fans a brief preview of their next project they are working on. During their “Essence of Fandom” event at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio stated: “We can’t tell you what kind of game it is, but I can tell you that it will surprise you.” Later, fans also confirmed that the announcement was related to the next game in the Like a Dragon saga<\/strong>, of which nothing is known at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, the studio has not revealed whether it would be a new installment of the main series, a spin-off (Judgement?<\/strong>), or even a remake. With the success of Infinite Wealth, it would be logical to think that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is already working on the third part of the Ichiban Kasuga saga<\/strong>, although the studio’s plans may go in other directions in the coming years.<\/p>\n\n\n

With the upcoming release of the Yakuza<\/strong> series on Amazon Prime Video<\/strong>, the studio could have continued with the remakes of Kazuma Kiryu’s saga, which currently has two titles: Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2<\/strong>, in order to make the saga more accessible to a lot more people. Will it be then, Like a Dragon Kiwami 3<\/strong>? Let’s dream.<\/p>\n\n\n
