YouTube<\/strong> is launching new features<\/a> for Shorts<\/strong> with various creative options that’ll help customize and expand the use of this tool. First, YouTube is introducing automatic layout<\/strong>, initially available for Shorts created on Android, which facilitates the conversion of long videos into Shorts<\/strong>. The automatic layout will follow the main subject of the video, optimizing the content for the Shorts format and shortening the footage.<\/p>\n\n\n

Another new feature is the incorporation of the popular text-to-speech<\/strong> option from TikTok, which provides automatic narration in the clips<\/strong>. According to YouTube, “With the text-to-speech feature, creators will have even more ways to express themselves by having the text of their Short narrated or spoken out loud”. Users will be able to choose from four available voices<\/strong> after recording their Short and adding text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, YouTube has introduced auto-generated subtitles<\/strong> for Shorts, which can be edited and customized with different fonts and colors. This feature aims to improve accessibility, as well as allow for greater creativity<\/strong> in video presentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important addition is the ability to remix already remixed Shorts clips<\/strong>, which will allow users to add their own version of a response to a Short. To this end, YouTube has launched an initial test of its “Add yours” sticker<\/strong> for Shorts, similar to Instagram’s feature that allows creators to request creative responses from other users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to all this, YouTube adds two new Minecraft-themed Shorts effects<\/strong>, including a mini-game that can be played directly in the Shorts player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shorts continue to gain popularity on YouTube, accumulating over 70 billion daily views<\/strong> on the app. Creators are finding more and more ways to use Shorts to expand their presence on YouTube, taking advantage of these new creative tools and features to enhance their content and attract a wider audience.<\/p>\n\n\n
