If you are a fan of the world of comics, you are well aware of the Dark Horse publishing house. But if not, here are a few titles that have made history in the medium: ‘Hellboy’, ‘Sin City’, ‘300’, ‘Usagi Yojimbo’, ‘The Umbrella Academy’ or ‘American Splendor’. They have been publishing comics since July 1986 and now, almost forty years later, no machine is going to teach them how things are done.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Little intelligence, very artificial<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

No matter how much the “AI-generated art creators” boast, the truth is that major publishers are not buying their bragging<\/strong> and Marvel, DC, Image, and other major publishers, except for an occasional image that may slip through (and would cost the artist their job), still do not allow the use of MidJourney or any type of generative artificial intelligence. Dark Horse is no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dark Horse was originally founded to establish an ideal publishing atmosphere for creative professionals and maintains this focus on supporting independent creators today. And as such, Dark Horse does not support the use of AI-generated material in the works we publish<\/strong>“<\/em>. We didn’t expect any less, but it’s good to emphasize that true creative people want nothing to do with prompts, stolen images, and cheesy AI. Luckily.<\/p>\n\n\n
