Although it has not been confirmed if this pause will be permanent, Microsoft plans to share a new schedule in the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2024\/08\/Windows-11-nagging-696x710-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-338672\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>These ads mainly affected Windows 10 Home users, but <strong>some Pro and Business users also saw them when restarting their computers<\/strong>. This pause comes at a crucial time, as the end of support for Windows 10 is scheduled for <strong>October 14, 2025<\/strong>. However, Microsoft has assured that <strong>they will release one last major update for Windows 10 before that date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pause in ads affects Windows 10 Pro and Pro Workstation devices, as well as devices not managed by IT departments through tools.
