A Russian cargo spacecraft arrived on Saturday at the International Space Station (ISS), bringing with it nearly three tons of food, fuel, and other supplies for the current crew.<\/p>\n\n\n

Although most of the food will be processed and packaged, spaceships that deliver supplies to the orbital outpost usually include a small amount of fresh fruit<\/strong> so that astronauts can enjoy it in the days following their arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick shared a short video of himself enjoying a segment of orange that arrived on the Progress cargo spacecraft over the weekend, and as you can see, microgravity conditions offer a rather unusual way to enjoy food<\/strong> aboard the space station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
