The success of Roblox<\/strong> keeps growing and growing. However, behind the scenes, there is a very dark side that is worrying many users: cases of child exploitation and harassment<\/strong> that are hidden in the games created on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n

A recent article from Bloomberg (via Vandal) points out that, during 2023, Roblox accumulated more than 13,000 reports of child harassment<\/strong>. The number is high, but the platform has already issued a statement stating that each report is carefully reviewed, while also noting that the vast volume of players who enjoy Roblox without issues should be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tens of millions of people of all ages have safe and positive experiences every day<\/strong>,” says Matt Kaufman, Director of Safety at Roblox. In this sense, the platform works hard and decisively against all these child predators, which has allowed countless cases of harassment to be handed over to the authorities and relevant authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
