We’ve been having different tools for quite some time now that allow us to improve our smartphone photos. Generally, they are small options, easy to use and of relative depth, but there is no doubt that every year they are getting better. In the case of Google, we had that Magic Editor, but everything points to their new AI tool, Reimagine, coming to make a big impact.<\/p>\n\n\n

The The Verge<\/a> has received the new Pixel 9<\/strong> to analyze, along with a small number of other media outlets. In this recently published article, Allison Johnson showcases the amazing results she has achieved with the Reimagine tool in her photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journalist comments that not only is she able to remove some annoying parts or change the color of the photo, something that has been common in recent years, but she is also capable of introducing objects into the scene in question with an impressive level of detail. For example, in the image shown below, both the bicycle and the car do not belong to the real photograph, but have been added through prompts via artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool is capable of identifying where the light sources come from to insert the corresponding shadows<\/strong>, as well as shaping the objects that have been added. And yes, all of this from your smartphone in a matter of seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the information published by The Verge, all images created by Reimagine do not have a watermark<\/strong> or anything that identifies them at first glance, beyond a label in the metadata (very easy to modify). A new era is coming where AI for images will literally enter the photo you are taking right now.<\/p>\n\n\n
