We have been saying for a while that Shogun is the best series on Disney Plus, as well as one of the best period dramas we have seen in many years. Released last year under the direction of Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks, the show is based on the famous novel by James Clavel that was already adapted for the big screen. However, its success has been such that a second season has been confirmed at some point, and it seems to be on its way to becoming a great cult series.

But just in case you still had any doubts about how impressive Shogun is, you just have to take a look at the Creative Emmy to realize its power. These awards, held one week before the main Emmys, serve to distribute technical awards and not overshadow the main gala. And it has already made history in them, winning 14 Emmys at once, the highest number of awards given in a single season of a series.
