An example presented by Meta showed an &#8220;enchanted realm, where magic fills the air,&#8221; but it was also suggested that <strong>versions of oneself could appear in scenarios like video games or space explorations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Amanda Felix<\/strong>, spokesperson for Meta, stated to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/9\/25\/24253329\/meta-ai-generated-images-facebook-instagram-feeds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">The Verge<\/a><\/strong> that the platform <strong>will only generate images with a user&#8217;s face if they have registered for the &#8220;Imagine&#8221; feature<\/strong> and accepted its terms, including uploading photos. Additionally, users will have the option to remove these images from their feed if they wish.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/Meta-imagen-IA-feed-ejemplo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-341246\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong>, CEO of Meta, commented that integrating AI-generated images into feeds is the next &#8220;logical leap&#8221; for their platforms, noting that feeds originally showed only content from friends, but <strong>over time, a layer of AI-generated content that might interest users has been added<\/strong>. &#8220;Its growth depends on execution and how good it is,&#8221; Zuckerberg explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This movement by Meta follows the example of <strong>Snapchat<\/strong>, whose <strong>AI selfie feature<\/strong> allows the company to use users&#8217; faces in personalized ads, unless the option is disabled, as reported by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.404media.co\/snapchat-reserves-the-right-to-use-ai-generated-images-of-your-face-in-ads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">404 Media<\/a><\/strong>.
