Do you remember The Day Before? Last year, when it was released in December, it was the subject of so much laughter on social media that it only stayed open for four days, and the studio, Fntastic, closed it right after so that we would never talk about it again<\/strong> and the game remained in the limbo of mediocrity. Or so we thought. Because sometimes, things come back even if we don’t want them to.<\/p>\n\n\n

Not that fntastic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After the failure of The Day Before, after which they refunded all the money to those who bought it expecting it to resemble the gameplay initially announced, Fntastic regrouped last year asking for a second chance from their followers<\/strong>, stating that now they will be professional, honest, and transparent, and that they have done everything in their power to earn our trust. What is the first thing they did? Of course, a crowdfunding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escape Factory was a cooperative physics-based game that didn’t look bad, but it didn’t win the public’s favor (for whatever reason) and raised only $2,384 of the $15,153 they were asking for.<\/strong> Ouch. A tough blow for the studio, which realized that “the project has not generated enough interest,” although they haven’t canceled it, just postponed it for another time. And if you thought this was the end of Fntastic, wait, because there’s a twist: they are now working on “what many of you have been waiting for.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
