This is what we should look for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Visibility of the last connection<\/strong>: If we could previously see when a contact was online and that information suddenly becomes unavailable, it could be a sign. It&#8217;s important to remember, however, that the other person might have changed their privacy settings to hide this information from all their contacts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Message confirmation<\/strong>: In both applications, the presence of two ticks or checks lets us know that the message has been delivered. If we see that our messages continue with only one check for too long while other contacts show two, it could indicate a block. Just like in the previous case, we cannot rule out that the other person simply does not have internet access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Profile picture<\/strong>: A change in a contact&#8217;s profile picture to a generic avatar can also be a clue. If this happens, it could indicate that we have been blocked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Calls and groups<\/strong>: If we try to call this person through WhatsApp or Telegram or add them to a group and encounter errors, these are clear indications that we might be blocked.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The final check, however, will be <strong>to ask a mutual contact if they see the person online<\/strong> while we do not see them that way.
