The success of League of Legends<\/strong> knows no bounds. The launch of Teamfight Tactics<\/strong> made Riot realize the potential of its universe, and subsequently, other additional games followed, such as Legends of Runeterra<\/strong>. Now that Arcane<\/strong> is on everyone’s lips, the company has taken the opportunity to announce Project K<\/strong>, a physical card game based on the MOBA. <\/p>\n\n\n

At the head of its development are Chengran Chai<\/strong> and Dave Guskin<\/strong>, executive producer and game director, respectively. According to Riot, they are working with a publishing partner in China to launch Project K in the country in early 2025. As for its global release, the company clarifies that they are still “taking their time to find the right publishing partner<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riot describes the game system as “unique<\/strong>” and that it improves “when played with friends and in person.” The truth is that we can expect great things from the game, especially because of the team behind it. Magic lovers may have already recognized the name Guskin, but for those who don’t know, he is a former designer at Wizards of the Coast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
