They sure are clever, aren’t they? The longer they make you wait for a new game from the franchises you love the most, the more excited you’ll be. That’s what happened with the new Okami, which hadn’t shown up on a console for 15 years, and with Onimusha Way of the Sword, which hadn’t had a new game on a console since 2006. And after seeing the enthusiastic reaction, Capcom has announced that it will revive dormant franchises. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

A dinosaur crisis!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As they have stated, “in addition to regularly releasing major titles each year, Capcom is focusing on reviving dormant IPs that haven’t had a new title recently<\/strong>“<\/em>. And if we take a look at their catalog, we have a good handful that we would like to see again with a new title, such as Ace Attorney, Final Fight, Ghost’n Goblins, Viewtiful Joe, and, of course, Dino Crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many players waiting for a new title in the franchise, which was halted in 2003 with the release of Dino Crisis 3 for Xbox and, incomprehensibly, has not been revisited. The game was not well received, but enough years have passed to resurrect that franchise<\/strong> and finally give it the game it deserves. Dinosaur dreams are also worth living for, right?<\/p>\n\n\n
