Nor has he needed to. Because NieR Automata continues to sell like hotcakes while we keep waiting for his next big title.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NieR Automata sells as if it were going to be removed from stores<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NieR_JPN\/status\/1872522683411558507\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">as announced by Square Enix<\/a>, <strong>NieR: Automata has now sold over nine million units<\/strong>. The last figure we had was from last February, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NieR_JPN\/status\/1760680935048278411\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">when it reached eight million units<\/a>. NieR Automata is an excellent game, with a cult following that continues to grow. And <strong>while we patiently wait for Yoko Taro to announce his next game, we might as well start another playthrough of NieR Automata<\/strong>.
