This is what happened to Cdew, a professional World of Warcraft player and Twitch<\/a> streamer who was playing with his level 57 Rogue and receiving donations from fans, who were giving him new challenges. This was the case until MartianPig, another user, made a donation of 7000 dollars with a simple message he had to accept to keep the money: “Delete everything”<\/em>.<\/strong> It sounds like the start of a Black Mirror episode, but I assure you it is very real.<\/p>\n\n\n

Cdew said “No way, Martian”<\/em>, before starting to think about what he would really lose, listing all his online belongings in exchange for real money. In fact, after a while he says he will accept it, but before doing so he turns around<\/strong>, choosing to keep his belongings. Many, in fact, believe that Cdew never even considered it at any point. Who knows, 7000 dollars can almost recover everything you’ve lost, right?<\/p>\n\n\n
