This will allow players on different devices to connect and play together, expanding the role-playing game&#8217;s community.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Baldur&#039;s Gate 3 - Official Announcement Trailer\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OcP0WdH7rTs?start=1&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the innovations, 12 new subclasses stand out, along with a photo mode that will give players the opportunity to capture memorable moments within the game.<strong> Additionally, improvements will be implemented in the mods, which have seen more than 100 million downloads to date<\/strong>, and various bugs that have affected the gaming experience will be fixed.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finally crossplay, but not without caveats<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to mention that Mac players must update their operating system to macOS 14 (version 14.7.1) or later to enjoy these new features. <strong>Those with older versions will still be able to access Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 through Patch 6<\/strong>. However, during the stress test period for Patch 8, Mac users will not be able to participate in cross-play.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Players interested in testing the new patch can register to participate in the stress test. <strong>The company notes that access will be in waves and that registering does not guarantee participation<\/strong>. Additionally, Xbox players will need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app to be on the list.
