Total Chaos, a Doom mod<\/a> II released in 2018 and considered one of the best of its kind, is in the process of being recreated as a full game. The creator, Sam Prebble, presented a trailer during The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted event and announced that a demo will be available “very soon”. This approach to development deviates from the early access model that Prebble used with his previous game, Turbo Overkill, in order to prevent player feedback from overly influencing the original vision of the game<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

A remake with significant changes<\/h2>\n\n\n

Although the Total Chaos remake is set in the same location as the original mod, an offshore mining colony inspired by Japan’s Hashima Island, it will not be an exact recreation<\/strong>. Prebble has emphasized that the explorable spaces will be expanded and new areas will be introduced, allowing players to rediscover the environment while facing completely new experiences. “You’ll enter a level and say, ‘Okay, I remember this space,’ but as you progress, you’ll realize there are significant differences,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n
