The consulting firm Rho Motion<\/a>, based in London, has just published the latest global electric vehicle sales figures for January 2025, and here is the headline: 1.3 million electric vehicles were sold worldwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

This represents a drop of more than a third compared to the record figures from December, but don’t be fooled: in January 2025 there was an 18% increase compared to January 2024.<\/strong> This is what is called a year-on-year increase.<\/p>\n\n\n
