Olympus Awaits Kratos

Speculations intensified with rumors pointing to a return to Greece, although the most likely interpretation of this indication seems to be a remaster of the original God of War trilogy, rather than a new installment in the mythical Greek landscape. As the 20th anniversary of the first game approaches, which is commemorated on March 22, fans argue that this date would be ideal for the announcement of a remaster.

Despite the expectation, the recent State of Play presentation left many fans disappointed by not including the highly anticipated remaster. However, the shadow of a possible revelation persists, fueling the excitement leading up to the anniversary date. A tweet from creative director Cory Barlog, who hinted that something is planned for the celebration, has kept the spark of optimism alive among the saga’s followers.
