This purchase includes a comprehensive portfolio of intellectual property in electric powertrains<\/strong>, allowing Cummins to access technologies that employ various energy sources, such as internal combustion engines, hydrogen fuel cells, and batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n

The company plans to launch, in the short term, the first commercially available hybrid retrofitting system for mining equipment.<\/strong> This system is designed to be modular, allowing equipment fleets to convert to full electricity without losing functionality in their existing vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n
