Thinking Big<\/h2>\n\n\n

The director of RPG, Carrie Patel, has opened the door to future expansions or sequels.<\/strong> In a recent interview, Patel mentioned that the team is interested in continuing to develop content within the world of Avowed, keeping all options open regarding possible DLCs. Now that we have built this wonderful world and also developed the strength of the team, I would love to do more with it<\/em>, she stated, reflecting the studio’s intention to extend the story and mechanics of the game.<\/p>\n\n\n

The development of Avowed has undergone several significant changes since its inception. Originally conceived as an open-world experience similar to Skyrim, this approach was adjusted after Patel’s arrival in 2021, opting for a design of large interconnected zones<\/strong>. According to Patel, this decision was based on the studio’s experience with The Outer Worlds, allowing for the creation of more varied environments and providing a more satisfying progression for players. Building a game with open zones allows us to design areas with greater intention and detail<\/em>, he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n
